I can't stand the whole "designer breed" We see designer breeds ALL the time at the shelter!! Most of the dogs we get are "designer breeds" COME ON PEOPLE! They are MUTTS!
I love a good mutt don't get me wrong... But to purposefully breed them, sell them for sometimes MORE then a show quality purebred to a crowd that is most likely to dump them later?? No, nonononono!!

Nice pups Don! More of a Sighthound, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky girl myself though.

Omg, remember the "puggle" craze of a couple of years ago? Man, we got those dogs in the rescue like crazy... because crossing a beagle and a pug is never a good idea!!! lol People were paying upwards of $1,000 for them... and now you can't give the things away. I had a momma and litter come in, and just for sh*** and giggles, I advertised the pups with a $500 "adoption fee"-- spayed and neutered them all first, at 12 weeks old, then ran the ad-- and honest as the day is long, I adopted them all out and had $2,000 to put back into the rescue. It was insane. And I had so many people responding to the ad it blew my mind.

Anyway, sorry for the rant-- Don, your babies are gorgeous and so is momma!!! Please keep us updated as they grow!!!

In my opinion I like mutts over pure breeds any day... Mutts live longer the pure breeds do.. That's just what I think.. The only pure breed dog I've had and cost me $2100.00 for him was our Blue Merle Pom Dakota.. I got pics of him here some where..

but really nice litter there if i lived closer i'd get one for my kids..
    Thanks, ~*Natalie*~

I've always kept several dogs until I moved here to Michigan and started living in an apartment. Maybe now I can have a dog again. Trouble is I prefer large dogs. I've always had a doberman and kept Great Danes for years. I want a doberman again. Had a mini pom for over 14 years.

All pups are adorable and have that warm puppy/sour milk smell that always takes me back to being a kid, playing in the hay with this summer's batch of puppies. And lucky you, you have several to play with!

My dog is a mixed beagle. A rat terrior (excuse the spelling) She looks more like a beagle and boy does she howl like a beagle. I do love her howls. Its funny. Ill post a pic of her.
