    I'm going to say either T. s. sirtalis or T. s. parietalis sans red.
    Also, is that tinge of brown on the upper left of the snake scale row 1?
    If so, I may be tempted to think T. b. butleri.

    From a UK shop it's almost definitely a parietalis. We just don't get Easterns very often in the UK pet trade.

    We weren't criticising the photograph, it's fine. It just shows the wrong bits!
    Close up pics of snakes are difficult because without very strong lighting you lose a lot of the depth of field, so part of the snake is always going to be out of focus.

    I'd say that's a parietalis, but I think it's time to start counting scales and posting more detailed pictures.

    It looks like it might be parietalis with no, or very little red or maybe a very dark sirtalis, but I doubt that...
