    Good to hear, LeAnn! That was fast!
    I tried Chili on salmon last night, but she was too nervous to eat. She didn't run away from it at least! Tonight it's supposed to rain, so I'll try her with some nightcrawlers.

    Frozen fish that's been thawed seems to have the smell they like. I usually get vicious feeding strikes when scenting with fish.

    I offered Chili frozen/thawed salmon, but she was having none of it! Then again, she's only been here a few days, and she pooped all over her tank the first couple, so she obviously had a decent meal sometime before I caught her.

    Sooty, my wild caught male, smelled f/t mouse blood and struck instantly... but he ate it and his strike wasn't the least bit defensive...
