    They are very nice I agree with Sid, but then again we live a bit too far away But Mexico has some very unique garterspecies

    Hey Robert,

    I heard from Steven Bol, a breeder in the Netherlands who has done some fieldstudies in Mexico that the juveniles of T. melanogaster canescens all differ in color when they are born.
    This has to do with the fact that predators cannot get used to a particular color as prey. Maybe this is also so for T. m. melanogaster.

    Maybe I want to loan a few of the pics from you for on my site again...
