My snake has cataracts!

The shed skin just smells vaguely of fish.

I don't know if it smells like fish, but it does have a bit of a smell, maybe like dead skin........

By the looks of her eyes, I think our red-sided is getting ready to shed. she wont eat either. Does that sound right? Also, why do they shed? I understand the insect thing, but fish dont, do they? And why does it come off in one piece?

mine smell like dirt lol thats what i have them on is potting soil..

they can shed anywhere from 3-6 or more sheds a year, depending on how small they are and how fast they are growing. adults shed less as they aren't growing as fast.
