How much to feed

imo yes. others will say its fine but i feed everyday for the first month then every other day for 2 months then every 3 days and adults eat every 4-5 days. also give variety. i feed nightcrawlers, salmon, tilapia, silversides and pinks/hairless hoppers every other feeding is a rodent meal. ive had alot of success with this diet.

I do vary his diet with silversides when I can get them and rosy reds on occasion, but I save those mostly for scenting. It takes him three days or so to completely digest the pinkies so I would be concerned about over feeding him if I pushed for more.

like i said its not for everyone. i breed so i feed a lil extra for brumation around this time

That would certainly be a good reason to increase feeding.

I think mine is going into shed or something he went missing yesterday and I found him buried in his substrate. I have had him for six weeks and not seen a shed yet so would time about right.

That would be about right and it would also depend on how much feeding he has been doing. Whether he is sick or injured will play a role in the frequency of sheddings. Hi, and welcome.
