    Just remember that by the Spring it's too late to quarantine any new snakes you bring in, and it's difficult for them to mate when one of them is quarantined.

    AAHHH yes very true! ty for the thought. i cant get any shipped to me now tho so that sucks. i probably wont even breed this year. i think i should learn more. ive already learned so much here already thanx to everyone.

    My first thought is you'll do nothing. Your snake is way too young/small for breeding anytime soon. Do you know what sex your snake is? I ask because it's always a good idea to buy your female first and a male for her a year or two later. That way she'll be bigger than him when they are old enough. It doesn't work out so well when the male is bigger.

    spring, fall, summer... doesn't matter. for the most part you just put two checkereds together and they breed whenever they feel like it. That's just how they are.

    Yeah its a girl. i know how to sex them (most of the time lol) shes almost 2ft at the moment so you are right prolly too small to breed right now. but ty for the information.
