    There a lot easier than our helvetica. These seem shy, much like natrix Maura but seem to be getting bolder with age.

    No problems as yet. I have a tiny one that is a great feeder. Helvetica are more specialist amphibian eaters than the other sub species.

    The problem they have is the Greeks attitude towards conservation. They are just not interested . It's all about building hotels ect. I do not know what is been done to protect these if anything is been done at all.
