I'm tellin ya.. Most of my snakes starte out alone. I add another and they go from skittish to bold in like an hour. They're much more secure and comfortable with other snakes. I just put one in with my first snake (WC) who's been alone for 3 years, always been really jumpy and insecure. And now, a week later, he's twice as chill around me, and doesn't freak out when I touch him, open the cage, wave my hand above him.. There's no denying the advantages to a "buddy".

I don't, but it's a good idea, eliminates the risks.

Any chance you can post another photo. That one is a little turned to the side. It needs to be straight on to the bottom of the tail area.
    Thanks.

Ok, garters are less jumpy when they have a buddy, but How do you "introduce" each other? You just put them both in the tank or there is a "metod" ?(like the cats)

I put them in together and pay close attention to them for the next couple of days to make sure there isn't any shenanigans going on.

Juts make sure they are relatively the same size.
