I've just had an easy night compared to Char. Apparently he's a problem eater, but maybe we'll try formula instead of worms or guppies
Thanks everyone, I'll pass on the congratulations to the two most wonderful people in the world in an hour or so when I go back to the hospital for the day.

Congrats! Welcome to our forum family little Joseph! He is beautiful! Do you have his enclosure set up? Lol... I think that you will both make wonderful parents.

Funny you should ask about his enclosure. A certain irony dawned on me...
In hospital he is sleeping in a "plastic tub", and despite the mattress substrate and the cuddly bunny decoration it isn't what I'd call home (considering I don't like keeping my garters in a RUB). When he's home he has his nursery with a nice cot and changing table, and a Moses basket until he's big enough for the cot. He's happy enough sleeping in the plastic crib ghou,so maybe I could have saved a few quid and just got him a sturdy cardboard box to sleep in at home.

A little different situation, but you know they say you buy a kid an expensive toy, and they want to play with the box

Congratulations!!! Joseph is adorable!!! My oldest was born via emergency c-section and also had the IV's as a precaution while awaiting test results. Not a big deal... my kiddo is now 20 and healthy as a horse, always has been

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

That's okay. I'll buy him an expensive Lego set, I can take out the pieces and play with it, the Gruffajo can play with the box.
