    Very cool. My vet offered to take x-rays or an ultrasound to confirm that Cee Cee was gravid last spring. I just didn't have the money for it...but always wished that I could have seen it. Thanks for sharing. I don't know...some of Cee Cee's babies popped right out without looking like they were in a sac. I hope she delivers healthy babies. Please keep us posted.

    One of the stillborns was all curled up like that. I thought it would be a normal way for them to develop, especially the way the jelly was shaped. Maybe it is an in utero developmental variation between snakes? Or maybe that's why 4/5 were still born. I've got my fingers crossed that these little ones are ok.

    From what I've been told Mom is a red phase coast garter.
    =D I work in an x-ray dept.

    LOL, according to youtube it looks like a lot of snakes are born kind of spread out instead of balled up...
