    We put the albino male to her at the end of Feb and she gave birth 4 months later.

    it doesn't seem to bother them, well it hasn't yet. They can see fine and they shed fine this time, only thing is I think the eyes make the head a bit heavy so they can just flop if they try going up the side of their enclosure.

    Hey thanks for posting the pics! Is there some sort of bacterial fluid in the eyes that makes them big like that? Is there any sort of treatment for it? Will they lose their eyes or vision as they get older?

    Interesting pics of the bug eyes.
    Also interesting that they shed with no problems. Has anyone kept bug eyed snakes to adulthood? At a guess I'd imagine they're more likely to damage their eyes as they are bigger and more exposed. I'd also suspect there could be a brain defect too because the optic nerve and retina is effectively an extension of the brain. Although none of that in itself is necessarily a problem.

    I´ve never seen such "bug eyes" by birth.
