    oh dang that sucks!

I started feeding mine seperately right away (i only have two though so that's easy...sorta). MAN they wiggle. I did a "drop" the other day, about two feet and the male bounced off the carpet, since he LEAPT from my hands. So annoying *lol* he's fine, but freaked me out.
They are a handful to try to seperate. They wiggle and squirm and then suddenly start eating *lol*

Any sign of her yet? I had a checkered get out of a tiny hole in her viv, and she turned up 3 days later (our cat actually spotted her, I heard him start "playing" with something on the floor as I was asleep in bed, it woke me up and jumped out to perform the perfect rescue). At the moment I've only got one small enough and quick enough to get away from me, I'd forgotten how wriggly they are when they're small. Good luck finding her, and I wish the worst of luck to your cat.

That is awful! I hope you find her soon. I have had some near misses with my snakes...thankfully I always caught them before they got away. I have three cats and an angry chihuahua! Is there anyway you can close the cat off in a separate area of the house until you find her?

No sign of the scotti. One of my wandering babies escaped last week through an air hole, but my cat aletered me to its presence and I put it back. I keep waiting for it to emerge in search of water or food, but for all I know it could have gone under the carpet and through the floorboards into another apartment. I've tried getting my newly-rescued German Shorthaired Pointer to sniff it out, but apparently the whole room smells like snakes

Sometimes the cat alerts me to invisible things in the snake room. I can't tell if she saw something or if she's just a crazy cat. I always look but have not found anything.

Here's an idea. Take the dog in the room and sit very quietly.
The dog can hear very minute noises and will alert you.
