    I find a lot of green snakes here in NC. they aren't protected or anyhting... And they aren't that bad in captivity, they just have a really short life span. Like, 5 years average.

    You're right Richard, but that will never happen considering the fact that most people think that they are just cheap junk snakes that nobody will miss. They say why captive breed something that is going to cost you lots of money for food when you can just take it from the wild.
