    Re: Hello from Oregon

Welcome from the Portland(oregon)/Vancouver, WA metro area! Now we must see pics of your garter snake! We love pics. What do you have? T. ordinoides?(Northwestern garter) T.s. concinnus? (Oregon Red-spotted)T.s. fitchii? (Valley garter) C'mon, you're killing me. Whatcha got?

Worms AND slugs? I guess T. ordinoides. Here's mine (and some T.s. concinnus):

Gotta love the variety of those northwestern garters.

    Re: Hello from Oregon

Flicker is Northwestern T. ordinoides ^_^

I put a picture in my avatar spot thingie, but I guess I did it wrong. So, I'll post one here. I actually don't have one with her tail. I guessed she was female from trying to read about and figure it out before - but I don't know if I figured it right or not.

I don't know how you let your snakes on the floor... mine would totally skeedadle and my ability to recapture her would be in question. She's still pretty small - dunno if that's from me not feeding her enough, not feeding her pinkies, or just normal for her age.

Isn't she soooooooo cute? And pretty? I don't handle her much though so she does kinda freak a bit and will sometimes musk when I pick her up.
