Re: The scare of my life - Inyoka escaped

It happened again. The little booger had figured out a way out of the enclosure and sent us on a long, tiresome search of the apartment. We still don't know how she got out. We decided to pull the couch out from the wall (our "junk corner," and take everything out, piece by piece, and lo' and behold it paid off. She was under some cables, barely visible. While the b/f held her, I cleaned out a 10 gallon holding tank that we used to put mice in during cage cleaning, and it's now her new home. It's huge compared to her tiny body. I never thought I'd say that a 10 gallon looked "too big" for an animal.

Because of all the extra room, she got more vines, another hide and some "toys." She got a Neopet figure from Burger King, and a couple candle holders, without the candles. One is a jack-o-lantern and the other is a black cat, in celebration of upcoming Halloween (we always go all out for it.)

    No more escapes for Inyoka!!

lol happy you found her AGAIN!!!

i'd sugest that you put everything that is in the cage so that there is at least 1.5X her body length above it..... it worked for my 23 babies and the only time they escaped was when i placed the objects too high in the cage..... good luck
