On one hand I would be honored if they'd take a picture of me to do that.

On the other hand, they should've asked permission.

This seems a 'noble cause', but in many other cases it's really not that noble. And in then, I would really not like that they just took a picture mine...

edit: in any case, you may never take a picture of somebody else from the internet. It's always copyrighted, even if you don't mention it explicitely. They teached this in my law classes

Hmmm... the DNR folks should pay you for that, but probably do not have the money allocated in the budget... so you could arrange for them to give you a special permission to OWN that species and propagate it for release!
