When my Puget had mites, I soaked the tank in bleach for a day, never saw mites again after that.

That method would not work on cages made from wood.

i did that for the male ball pythion but hes only in a 20 gallon long, was easy to move the tank for soaking/cleaning, the female is in a 40 gallon that i cannot move safely by myself. gotta get one of my buddies to give me a hand sometime this week, id hate to try moving the tank myself and busting it or putting a crack in the side

whatever you use, good luck! I hope you get rid of them for good!

George had 2 mites on him, I used the diluted water/bleach, never saw them on him again . Never saw them in his cage either.
