Wow, learn something new every day! Those are pretty interesting. Not something I'm interested in keeping, but I enjoy seeing them and learning more about them.

I wouldnt mind getting a couple either. I saw some really cool black ones in a store the other day but I know almost nothing about keeping them. I will keep them on my want list for now I guess.

oh... my... god... (holding stomach as it turns)

Don, I do NOT know how you deal with those wicked, icky, SCARY things. Can't stand those mothers!

BUT! From the perspective of interesting things, THAT IS SO NEAT! Never knew that's what they did - never wanted to know! LOL!!!

Amazing. (shudder) <----- For real. A big one.

Some o'your stuff, Don, is like watching Aminal Planet. Very cool.

    Re: Unexpected litter

thanks!!! I am planning on catching small flies and feeding to her, hoping she will kill it and let the babies feed on it....if not will try pinhead crickets. they are neat little critters...not for everyone. I used to have a yellow fat tail scorpion...deadly little scorpion. had her for about 3 years. definitely not handleable like the emperor scorpions (the big black ones in all pet stores). I don't reccomend anyone handle scorpions....but they are really mellow.

He said that Emperors ARE mellow and generally "handleable". He just doesn't recommend it at all.
