I'm not officially selling quite yet, but 4 of them are about ready to be ready. If that makes any sense.

That is hard to see. I would say female, but I could be wrong.

Female northwestern. Male northwesterns are always much thinner, smaller, and just don't have that heavy body.

There's plenty of fitchi in that area. (Valley garters live east of the cascades) They're very pretty but rather feisty and fussy in captivity. I don't think there's any northwesterns though. They are strictly a west side snake. I've seen photos of fitchi before from the Moses lake area. You really have to find a wetland though, with plenty of amphibians, and go very early in the day to find them basking to warm up in the sun. They spend a lot of time in the water hunting frogs. Once they warm up and the day progresses, they tend to disappear on warm days.

    T. sirtalis fitchi (Valley Garter Snake). They are most definitely in the Moses Lake area.

Apparently they are in Washoe county, NV (Where Reno is) too and I've spent a lot of time herping there. Never found any snake that didn't have a rattle.

Based on the size of the snake I think female. NW males are super tiny!
