So I used some of your suggestions and made a temporary patch for my screen lid. Thank you all for the quick replies. That was a rather annoying way to end my day. Good news is I contacted Zilla and explained the situation and they are sending me a new lid free of charge! I was speechless when I saw the e-mail. That's what I call great customer service
