Guess I missed the argument..... have never had any issues with it myself and I have been keeping snakes for over 30 years.....

Mama eats fuzzies when I have them, she loves them and has absolutely no problems with it. I've never seen her with fuzzy or furry poop in the entire 2 years I've had her. Maybe for younger snakes they might have a hard time digesting the fur, I know I've seen a little bit of hair in Squirt and Thumbelina's poop before when I had nothing but a hopper to feed them.

My snakes seem not to prefer the fuzzies as much, so I stick with the larger pinkies. Maybe it's the texture.

Whiskers and fur, unless that's what you meant by texture.
I had a couple who don't like the whisker.
Unless they're starving, then anything goes: Whiskers, fur, fingers, blood, hands and screaming children.
