    hello MARWOLAETH canescens are a very small species. They start out very shy but lose their fear as they become adults. They are fish specialists, they can be switch to a rodent diet but they dont eat them well, they never seem to get it right. You give them a fish and its a different story. They also feed very aggressively and i have to feed them individualy. I keep them in groups.
    They are very different then other Thamnophis species but thats what i like about them, theyre unique.
