Keeping them has not been a problem, finding more will be soon.

With 24 mouths eating them, 100 is only 4 toad-lets each.

There is a bunch more wogs ready to drop tail, so I will have them for a little longer.

Glad we moved all the eggs in the spring, we have 4 big mud bogs for off road vehicles to tear up, the toads and frogs lay huge gobs of eggs in the bogs every year.

So we move all the eggs we can get to an isolated pond, with no motor vehicles allowed, so far our harvesting them for food has not made much of a dent, the birds and local snakes are eating their fill also.

Last night I saw a very pretty eastern yearling out there having a feast, I left it alone, did not have my camera handy either no pictures

Normally I do James, to promote my park I have to do paparazzi style sports photos all the time, and when I go out herping I usually have it, when I take care of my animals I usually have it.....

But we were netting toads, the cam was in the truck.

I did snap this shot of Dorothy walking the creek line, from way back. On any given evening we see wildlife all around. we are 1/3 mile back from the house here.

If you want, I can walk out and take some wide shots and post them on the nature thread..
