Re: Rhea's garters and the occasional other beast

Drache is a Peninsula Intergrade - L.g.getula x L.g.floridana, and this photo doesn't quite do him justice
would love to see a photo of yours; do you have other critters too?
have you posted in the "other reptiles" thread yet?[/quote]

Now, I'm looking forward to seeing a photo that actually does Drache justice! Maybe, a close-up?
I only have the kingsnake and my two eastern garters. I'm hoping to catch an eastern milksnake this summer though.- I can't wait until it gets warm enough.
No, I haven't posted in the "other reptiles" thread yet...I just tried looking for it but couldn't find it. Is there a link?

since nobody bit the first time when I asked about the close-up of Momo, here's another one I took this morning; you have to look at the earlier one to see it, but it helps to compare

they're very contemporary, in that they don't outright steal it - they con people out of it in a way that there's no way to opt out

True ... but you can still say no if you're momo ... that little snake is destined to be a saviour

Is the difference the totally black eyes or a pre-shed shot?

Re: Rhea's garters and the occasional other beast

    the latter
when I looked at the photo I thought that it was cool how you could see where she was getting ready to peel at the nose - that little bulge at the tip where it looks like her face has a foreskin
when I went to look for the shed this morning I didn't see it anywhere, but they sleep at night and wake up when we do
I found the shed about an hour after we got up

rofl they always look as if they're embossed before they peel. Clint tends to look like a dinosaur before she sheds.
