    OMG!!!! Sooty almost just ate Fawna!!!!!!! after they eat i always put them all in for a bath and so i did and the next thing i know sooty is shaking her head underwater and fawna is in her mouth!!!! i smacked sooty and she spit her out..... i think she's ok..... but what should i do? i can't see any marks..... but she's so tiny!

    If there's nothing obvious then Fawna is probably okay.
    Keep an eye on her for a short time. She should be fine.
    They are pretty tough!

    Not sure what you feed them but both of them probably had food smell on their mouths, it would transfer to the water. Then they would probably start sweeping the water for more food. I have seen this with my radix. If one of mine has a dirty mouth after eating I will give them a quick dunk in the water dish. I no sooner do that and a few hit the water looking for a bite.
    There have been time I'll be holding one as they eat. A piece of food will fall into the water dish and more than one will be fishing for it. They don't miss much.

    They both look great, but be careful.
    Turtles smell like food to a Garter snake.
    They come from the water.
    Wouldn't want that little turtle to get hurt.

    lol meadow's afraid of him lol and he opens his mouth like he's gonna try to eat her!!!!! lol it's really funny to watch lol but meadow was only put down on the bed with him for a sec so i could get some pics
