Look what I found in my garden today!!
One of the egg-sacs I put under my Alberta spruce must have hatched. I think they're a little late getting started, but hopefully I'll have a few survive and grow up in my backyard.

No, that's not a maple. It's a plant (Heuchera -- Coral Bells, red variety)!
By the time I found the little guys, they were starting to migrate off the Alberta spruce and into the rest of the garden. I'm hoping they find their way all over the yard.

Well, I do have a maple that stays red all year..............but it's supposed to look that way!
