Is Tank a Common Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina)? Looks just like mine, his name's Bert. I'll be posting pics of him in the near future.

Yes, a not so common, common snapping turtle.
    He's just about 7 lbs.
How long have you had Bert?

I've had Bert since June 2, 2009 (a very special day ). When I found him crossing the street, his shell was about the size of a silver dollar, now his shell is about as long as a paper dollar. He's just coming out of brumation now so he'll be back to eating and growing in no time.

Eh, I still don't prefer snakes over the lizards, however, generally, people buy more snakes than lizards, it's just a better market to get into, so I actually have 15 snakes of my own right now, almost all of them are for sale, the red above just happens to be a female, so my girlfriend will keep it to breed with her male.

Frogs are awesome. I'm thinking about buying a dumpy tree frog, or something like that. After I buy another garter from Scott.
And like I said, show me some pictures and I could probably help ya. (not sure if you've posted pics or not yet. Haven't seen any yet)
