We can always do some trading richard. I have some big nice spotted salamanders i don't have a pic right now. They have red or orange spots on their heads and yellow spots on their backs. Beautiful specimens!!!

Fine, I think what I'm going to do is just get the dang viv setup. Then I will have a go-ahead to acquire some sallies.

Richard, like I tell my kids, can you get the food to feed them? I know many salamanders eat things like spiders and flies and such. We have the king spotted salamanders here, as well as the little blue ones and newts. We will catch them and then release because we can't feed them properly. They like to live near the stream banks, under the rocks.

I won't keep them cause I won't have spiders and such in the house. We had a spring peeper a few years ago, for a night. Not only was that little bugger LOUD but he also had the same menu. So we let him go back into the pond area.

If you decide to get one, let me know how you make out!

I'm sorry to say it looks like I'm losing Thumbilina. She went limp and unresponsive at 4:30am pacific today and she's been at the animal hospital ever since. They've ran every test they can think of to the tune of $1200 or so and they still don't have the slightest clue what is wrong with her. She's completely limp, can't stand up or even look at you, and just barks every now and then(but not a normal bark) but doesn't respond, doesn't acknowledge anything or anyone. She's in some sort of coma. She's 10 years old. Her vitals are good, all tests are normal, everyone is completely stumped. All I know is we're running out of tests and I'm running out of credit.

It might be a few days before I can get back to all the people I've been having dialogue with in PM's so bear with me. I'm not just blowing you all off. Gotta thing going on here.
