I do love the color on these guys...
This was an unusual cali king-- they had him labeled as a "copper". I met an aquaintance there, and her boyfriend, who recently opened a reptile shop, scooped this guy up...
He has blueish/grey eyes. He's also really fat!! (The snake, not the boyfriend!)
And, the excitement of the show... a two headed rat snake that someone brought in and said was found locally.

There's going to be an expo here next weekend. A general pet expo, but I think there are going to be a couple of herps present.

Lori, thanks for the Hoggy pics! I've heard of both o'those. I worry about the Supers... I'm thinking they may be very inbred, using the least marked Anacondas over and over...

I really need to see about attending an expo. If not to acquire, then to see some other varieties up close. Though this can lead to an even quicker submersion into the herping world....
