    Re: Whats cooking?

I haven't had the best year this year, but all of my breeders are young and are breeding for the first time. I've had 2 litters born and both females dropped very small litters of 3 babies each and 2 other girls slugged out. I'm still waiting on my two anery easterns, a snow plains female, and my stripeless similis to drop and I'm hoping for a surprise litter of infernalis. It's a little depressing considering I had 6 or 7 big litters last year, but it's part of it as you don't never know what to expect. I'm hoping these girls being first time breeders will do better next year, lol! I did have one female from my anery drop 3 babies which were 2 albino and 1 that looks like it will color up anery and it has like a tiger pattern so I'm excited about them. I witnessed a lock up and a sperm plug with my infernalis, but she does not appear gravid so fingers crossed for a surprise litter. I think i will go back to a longer brumation next year.

I thought my other pastel het granite was gravid but that's long gone. I then was thinking that the albino checkered was going to drop something for me with a retained sperm possibility. She refused a couple of meals and looked like she was putting on weight. I am still watching her today though. IDK.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

    Congrats Tommy!!
Sirtalis are not for the faint of heart. They are a pain in the ***!! That's what made me concentrate on easterns only!!
    I often wonder why. LOL

yes but the babies came out with a lil bit of red from my understanding they lose it as they age they look totally different than normal concinnus and have green dorsal stripes kinda like infernais and sides are orange that fade to whites/ green
