and I don't want to believe that anyone would do that to a snake
but I know people do all sorts of things I don't want to believe
in any case, I couldn't tell by looking at the clip

It's pretty much guaranteed that the snake was tampered with. Cobras rarely 'dry strike' with a closed mouth, especially under that amount of pressure. Also, they are teaching that child not to fear/respect a dangerous creature which he/she is likely to encounter in day to day life. It's sick what people will do for the sake of the camera.

It never even occurred to me that someone might have done something to the cobra..........guess I'm gullible too.
That is SO rotten, i feel awful for the poor creature, he must be absolutely terrified!!
