Right...I mean, when I hear a newborn screaming...I always have the urge to comfort it...of course if you have heard a newborn cry, the cry is very different than, say, a toddler wailing. It is not as grating. It's a very sad cry and I feel the need to calm the baby. When a toddler screams, I feel the need to scream myself.

I'm finding the "crying because daddy is stopping you from doing things that you shouldn't be doing" is particularly annoying. The sort of "things" include - pulling the cat's fur out while he's sleeping, continuously chasing the cat, pulling on the curtains, turning the DVD player on and off to see the red light around the button change from red to green, banging on the top of the DVD player. Sometimes he just laughs when I tell him off, other times its time to bawl... Bodes well for the future.

thats exactly the crying i am talking about my sister used to do it when she was little, screaming crying throwing herself on the floor kicking and screaming like she was going to die lol oh and somehow her 2 girls do the same thing but my nephew(youngest) never does that crap that i know of. its crazy how kids act just like the parents did without knowing that their parents used to

OMG you got to be kidding. hearing stuff like that makes me want the same fate for the dogs owner. the EXACT
same. did he even give a reason? not that it would make any difference.

Can't say I agree. If I had an agitated rottweiler snapping at me, I'd shoot it, too.
