Got some substantial bleeding into the eye this morning. Looks like a trip back to the doctor.

Oy, I took a ball to the eye like that once. Not fun. I hope everything's alright.

Just back from the Dr. Normal damage and nothing else going on. Very swollen but no change to her vision so the injury will have to run its course.

That's a fantastic shiner Steve. Something to show off for a week or two.
Glad it's not too serious an injury.

I'm back. I know everyone missed me dearly.

Had a little stay in the hospital following emergency surgery on my left elbow. Had some minor trauma to it about 2 weeks ago that quickly got infected with strep. Went to ER with compartment syndrome so they had to operate right away to save my arm. All is well now, healing nicely. It's just that I now have a huge hole in my arm that has to be packed daily until it heals. Fun stuff.

Guess we can't count on you pitching at the annual Thamnophis softball game this year.
Hope it heals well for you.

Appropriate weather for the duration of the healing period. March weather. Pouring rain, windy, around 51 degrees, snowing at 5,000 feet. Nice.
