    Re: Stefan's garters

I'm not sure this will work from now on, unless I soon find someone else in this area that's also in need of rodents. They're shipped by bus, so once the outdoor temperatures start rising, I'll have to start looking for local sources again. I also got the impression that this guy we ordered from might not get them on a regular basis.

I suppose I should ask my vet if they actually have started selling "high-quality affordable" rodents, like he said they probably would.

I've had a bit of trouble getting my favourite fish, lately, but that's supposedly a seasonal thing. In the winter, the vendace they catch are usually these big 20cm/20gram adults, but in a few months, I should be getting my hands on the really small ones again. The small ones are pretty much ideal for the N. mauras and the my males. Not a fan of the extra work of having to chop up their food for them.

Yes, gave her a fish immediately after I weighed her last time. Judging by the amount of fecal matter in her enclosure, I'd say she's passed most of it. Doesn't usually take more than two days to do that, anyway.

I would say that was an impressive weight gain.

Not sure if this counts as a mission anymore. Seems more like a campaign, to me.
