Also I have another question about guppies. Do "feeder" guppies get as big as "fancy" guppies?

As far as I know, like feeder goldfish, there's no difference between "fancy" and "feeder" other than their appearance. The "feeder" ones are just culls. Just ones that don't make the "fancy" grade or do not have the desirable "fancy" traits. They are what's left after artificial selection. Feeders are closer to wild-type than their fancy counterparts.

I hate it when certain people, media, employer, etc. urge me to get a flu shot. I haven't had the flu or anything even close to it, since I was 17. In spite of having close contact with people over the years that were very ill with it.

I know that they say it mutates and new strains come out every year, but it just seems like I could practically kiss someone with it, even newer strains, and I just don't get it. If I do get it, I'm not aware of it because there's no symptoms.

Now flashback to my childhood. Had flu so bad, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year, I thought I would die it was so bad. This went on every dang year. Maybe that has something to do with my current resistance. I'm serious. In recent years, I've spent days at a friends house that was sick with it. She went to the Dr. and it's definitely flu. I didn't take any special precautions to keep from getting it. Still nothing. She's been sick several times with flu over the last few years and I was there. Touching everything, and spending time at her house. Still nothing. Wait. One time recently after being round a flu victim, I got a slightly scratchy throat is all. Gone in couple of days.

In spite of how long it's been since I had a confirmed flu illness I will never forget how miserable it is. Get better soon Marnie.

I had what was an undiscovered strain of the H1N1 virus during the epidemic a little while ago. But other than that, I've never had any sort of flu. Knock on wood. Hope you feel better soon Marnie!
