My daughter Gabby brought a nice 24 hour bug into the house. Christmas night it hit my Son(Kale) and I. Nasty stuff.
Let's just say the bathroom is the only place you want to be during its onslaught

I can finally hold down water which is helping with the cramps from being dehydrated.
Felt like spray painting "Dead Inside" on the front door.

Indiana got a bunch of snow dumped on it yesterday! They measured 7.5" out at the airport. I shoveled 6" or so out of the bottom of my driveway. My friend lost power a half mile away, but we never did. I was glad, cause I didn't really want to snuggle a bunch of snakes in my bed! There isn't much room when you pile on a cat, two dogs, the portable dvd player, a stack of Harry Potter movies and a tablet PC! And a bowl of popcorn!!

It was especially fun cause our office doesn't close very often (Customs & Border Protection, National Finance Center!)

Price of milk is supposed to almost double in the next few days. So, if you need milk, I would suggest getting tonight or ASAP. Personally, I think it's way too high already so I will probably learn to live without it. Can always use powdered for recipes calling for milk.

You know Steve...some of those nasty stomach bugs come with wicked stomach cramps. Rotovirus and norovirus...the two most common stomach bugs these days cause vomiting, diarrhea, and pretty severe stomach cramps. I have had both and they are not fun. They also are highly contagious. Both move through the system pretty violently and quickly. Glad you all survived it. I am hoping and praying that when I start my clinicals, I do not catch one of those bugs....having one of those once is enough for a lifetime.

We had some snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas...but both times it turned into rain....blah. We have yet to have a big snow storm. I am waiting....
