Baiting snakes

He is pretty tiny. I am guessing about 6 inches (15 cm). There is a pretty good photo on page 10 of him curled up next to a 5 mm ladybug shell.

I have a ladybug update, but it is a kind of long and harrowing tail, so I will post later tonight, going for a bike ride now, beautiful day ....at last.
