I fed runt tonight. He ate from the tweezers quite a lot. He's getting more used to me It also kind of shows how easily startled he is. He hid from me because my finger moved a little bit on the camera. He ate a lot this time

Remember, new things upset garter snakes.
Mine are fine with my camera since I take so many pictures but when I get the video camera out they head to their hides.
Some are getting used to it and others just don't know yet.

Great video. I've even seen garters (and other snakes) that see the lens as a huge eye staring at them. They don't like it at all and get hostile toward it.

Oh I know that, Runt doesn't like my web cam all that much and the adults love it. He got started just when my finger moved but I know that the camera could have made him scared too. My finger might have brought it to his attention. My adults are used to seeing my camera cause I chase them around taking pictures and videos of them all the time

Worlds dumbest is right. Why would you even TRY to kiss a snake... With your tongue? I give my snakes kisses but that's just plain bizarre.

Something tells me the snake didn't survive much past the filming of this.
This crew doesn't look like the type that would care much about its welfare.
