Not really. That would mean its color would change with its environment, which it doesn't. It just reflects light.

Don't you guys remember when I posted a pic of one of those caterpillar things when I found it in my backyard? They are so funny. I love albino snakes and I love polar bears. Richard...those frosted trees you posted...I have never seen those at the tree places around here. I would love to have one of those...they are beautiful. Just a fake tree for us...it's pretty tacky looking.

I finally finished the semester in school. Took my last math exam today. Now I am just waiting for my grade on my exam and my research paper and presentation. I have a month off before clinicals start. Yipee! They gave us info at the clinical orientation on mental health referrals should we need it while we are in clinicals. I say that any time you are about to start something and they give you access to mental help if you need it....you should be worried. Jeez!

Yes I remember. We have those great big hairless green "eyed" caterpillars here that sometimes fall out of sycamore trees around here. They are Western Tiger Swallowtail larvae. The eyes don't seem to save them though. I see robins tearing them apart all the time.

As every generation of caterpillar gets more convincing the predators must get better at seeing through the disguise

British English, American English... In school we were basically told that "Either one is fine, just pick one and stick to it." I switch back and forth between the two all the time, without noticing.
