Holy ****. This can't be good. Eye is dang near on top of Philadelphia and still a catagory 1 hurricane. Sustained winds 80+ mph. Shannon isn't far from there and they lost power 14 hours ago.

Well, so far...we have survived the storm. I have no idea if my beach place is still there...the beaches got hit the worst. Up here, in northern DE, it wasn't as bad as we thought. NJ and NY got hit pretty bad though. I hope everyone is okay. They actually closed every interstate and major road around here last night...so you couldn't evacuate even if you wanted to. Schools have been closed since yesterday. Even my doc's office is closed. The most important thing though...my son's trampoline survived...lol. He was really worried about that. Yeah...I'm 40 minutes south of Philly...about 1 hour from the Jersey shore...about 2 hours from NYC...don't ask me miles. We didn't lose power at my house but I don't know how many people around here did. There is a lot of flood damage around here too.
