Something that annoys the hell out of me even though it shouldn't...

When I hear this song on the radio I mention to a friend that it's 10,000 Maniacs. They often reply "No it isn't! It's Natalie Merchant. Who the hell is 10,000 Maniacs?"

With most bands, it's usually the other way around. They know the band name, but not the names of the artists in the band. For example. Chris Cornell on the radio, people will swear to me that it's Soundgarden, Audioslave, or Pearl Jam when it's "none of the above".
