Hmmm... you mean the air or the water temp? I have actually been in 60 degree water on the beach in San Diego. It's darn cold. You go numb and cramp up in less than a minute. Didn't matter that the weather was 98 degrees.

This year is one for the record books for an extremly dry period (July - Oct) but now that its raining, it's pouring, and theres rain every day in the extended forecast.

1.5 - 2 inches expected Sun and Mon. Translation: pouring, soaking unrelenting rain all day, both days.

Sorry I haven't been replying to many threads...my son has been really sick since Saturday. Got to have the wonderful experience of sitting in the ER waiting room for hours Saturday night. This is the hospital where I am supposed to do my clinicals and I was so angry with the care that my son received...or didn't receive that I had to literally bite my lip to keep from screaming at everyone. They had us sitting in the waiting room for two hours with my son's fever getting higher and higher and him starting to shake and twitch. Finally, after me asking several times for him to please be seen...they found a room for him, where we sat for another half an hour waiting for the nurse to look at him. When the doctor finally got around to looking at him an hour or so later...they barely ran any tests and just said.."It must be a virus". I am getting ready to take him to the doctor now. I will not work at that hospital once I am an RN. I will work at the children's hospital...where I should have taken my son...or at some other hospital.
