Well, I guess I'll call animal control then. And yeah...I'd choose the same snake as Stefan if I got to choose the snake in the snake vs. croc scenario. I'm going to take my second math exam today. I absolutely have to pass this exam or I'm out of clinicals in January. No pressure at all.

There was a black bear sighted in our city park here yesterday. Very odd. They don't usually wander all the way into town, they stay up in the mountains. We do usually get a good number of mountain lions through town every year. I wish I hadn't been working, I would have loved to go take some photos of it. Apparently game & fish were unable to capture it.

Also we have had a huge change in temp. On tuseday it was 80, yesterday it snowed more snow and cold temps to come this weekend, according to the news. God knows we need the moisture, but I can't stand going from 80 degrees out to snowing litteraly over night.

When I lived in WVA, I used to have bats fly in my living room window at night. I was a poor college student and my apartment didn't have air conditioning or screens on the windows. It's kind of disturbing when you are watching t.v. and a bat starts diving at your head.

In the city of Vancouver, WA (around 200,000 people) the fourth largest city in WA, we occasionally get deer, bears, cougars, bobcats out of the blue smack dab in the middle of highly urban areas. They usually show up this time of year. If things get too dry (it's extremely dry now) they come to town looking for food. Don't ask me how they get so far into town without being seen. Last year some kids spotted a black bear sleeping in a tree at a park within walking distance of downtown! A young cougar also found sleeping in a tree near the interstate just blocks from downtown.

Racoons and coyotes actually live in the city year 'round.
