Saw the 4th copperhead in 2 months, dead on the road.. Wish they'd be ALIVE when I find them for once. Haven't seem a single snake all year that wasnt dead.

If it's been warm they're probably coming out at night when rodents are active. road cruising after dark would probably get you better luck. I bet they're getting ran over at night or early morning/twilight. Down in SoCal in the desert, new road kills get discovered in the morning so they're getting killed when it's dark. The high desert can get cold at night and the roads stay pretty warm.

Warm days plus chilly nights equals an increase in road kills.

Yeah.. Didn't bother this year with the move and stuff.

And by road I mean my neighborhood street.. There's no much to cruise around here. There's woods a the end of the street leading to a disc golf course, but seemingly vacant of all life lol.

Yeah it's definately been warm... That's the problem i'm sure, I've tried going out at night. It's pretty lifeless here

Yeah...I'm wondering what is going on with all of the garters around here all of the sudden. When everyone else was finding them in the spring and summer...nothin'! Now...it's fall and they are literally falling into my basement. No pun intended there...lol...it's fall and they're falling...ha ha...I got up way too early today.

hey guys guess who stayed up for an a lll night laser tag event, then went to work at the washtub during our busiest day and somehow had a sprain and nearly toughed it out the whole day... ya when i nearly couldn't get out of the mcdonalds in wall mart i knew something was up...
