For a second, I almost thought that you had taken a picture of my parietalis female with practically no red.

I actually brought that up before, the fact that there is no red on them. Pretty much was told they probably aren't red-sided garters.

I've seen that too. Extreme NE California near goose lake. Sometimes it was a dirty yellow ocher color, sometimes rusty orange.
