Here are the newest arrivals to my house, they hatched last night.

    Arimo, who pipped last.

Arco, the first one to pip.

Thanks! I think so too! I've still got 4 more eggs to go. The last ones were laid on the 15th, so a long wait still ahead for those. These took 73 days to incubate.

I'm not really into corns, I dont know why. Might have something to do with the fact that thousands are sold locally every year, but very few actually get good homes. There's so many abandoned and rescued corns around here it makes me sick and yet everyone keeps breeding them. You'll have a hard time giving away an okeetee around here. They're just considered "normal". Lavenders, albinos, and candy corns are more popular. I guess the good thing about that is you don't have to buy them at all. There's plenty of adults to be had for free. For example, a childhood friend of mine owns a pet store and stables. Someone couldn't care for their corn anymore and simply gave her one. It was a magnificent lavender like this one. It had the most awesome blue eyes I've ever seen. Yes, BLUE eyes on a snake!

That's exactly what I said the first time I handled one earlier this spring! It was just like a really big garter snake! very well tempered. Awesome snakes. The one I'm holding belongs to Nate (Redspot) and it's the small one. He had one twice that size! About a week later, he hatched out a bunch of cribo eggs. How cool is that?

Mine is a male and I would love to find a female and hopefully I will be able to afford her when I find her. Bosco was wild caught as a baby. He is fine to hold but is shy in the cage. I have to feed him last on feeding day so I don't spook him into not eating by moving around in front of his cage. From what I have read this is atypical of the cribos.
