Disney/Pixar animation also has a history of throwing something in there for the adults. They want to make it entertaining for the entire family.

it dates clear back to the 40's. Except back then they were so subtle with it that even most adults missed it. Kind of an inside joke for the animators. I guess it was a kind of competition to see who could get the raunchiest stuff past the audience/censors
