I've just now realized that 90%(I'm being generous) of all TV programing is crap. I see now that National Geographic Channel is starting a series called "Hunting UFO's" History channel no longer talks about history. They promote killing gators amongst all the other crap. Animal Planet is a joke.
I'm ready to sell my TV's and cancel my cable.

Way ahead of you, by about 10 years. I watch perhaps 3 hours a month, and most of that is done online.

That's why I don't watch tv. If I do, it's because I'm bored and decided to hang out with my mom... She does nothing but watch reality shows, and Days of our lives.

I've grown up with days of our lives... I've been watching it since I was 2. It's a long long time of tolerating the stupid plot twist. Like.. Sammy and EJ, EJ and Nicole.. Then oh noes!!! EJ goes back to Sammy, only to cheat on her with Nicole! OMG!!! Lol.

Thank you. My mom has watched it since she was a kid, she's almost 60 now... That is a loooooong time.

I have a cable package but I rarely watch "live" TV - I have a DVR set to record the handful of shows I like and I watch them when I feel like it. I do watch baseball live and I go to my local sports bar to watch football on Sundays during the season.
