I am happy and very proud to announce that my son's baseball team finally won their first game last night! And to make it even sweeter...they beat the best team in the league...9-4! You should have seen the faces on those kids!! They were so proud. The parents were practically jumping out of the stands. The boys were on fire...one kid hit two triples! They looked so amazing out there. My son caught a fly ball and got an RBI. I think the coach is still in shock.

They needed this so much! They were really starting to doubt themselves and feel as though they were the "league joke". The coach was really getting down on himself too. The fact that they beat the best team in the league will show the other teams that they are no joke! We knew they had it in them. I am so very proud of all of them right now. I haven't stopped smiling since the game!

Ok. I know this will get merged with the oh so quiet thread, but I'm so excited I want EVERYONE to see it! I got a promotion at work! I'm going from part time to to full time manager trainee!!
